The Story of Prof. Bashir Foundation

2008

Founded

2009

Funded education of students for Medical & Engineering entrance examinations for several years

2011

Was registered with the Registrar of Societies, J&K Government vide No: 5337-RS/140, dated: 20-06- 2011 (6019-S of 2011)
Trained students from lower income groups in Communication Skills and Personality Development

2012

Undertook Bottom Pyramid Education Program, training teachers & conducting surveys; training programs to develop 3Rs in the students studying in Government schools

2013

Started Computer Program for the economically weaker sections, certified by NIELIT (a National institution in India certifying students in computer literacy)

2014

Worked towards flood relief by organising medical camps and providing shelter to the 50 flood affected families

2015

Adopted 02 schools educating the first generation learners under School Adoption Program (SAP)

2017

Established Education Support Program (ESP) providing books and stationary to the needy students

2018

Established Education Fund Program (EFP) providing for the education of the students from economically weaker sections.

Formulated, tried & tested 4C constructivist lesson plan in low fee private schools of District Ganderbal, J&K. The lesson plan developed by Fazl illahi is presently being used in trainings is School Education Department and Institute of Advanced Studies in Education, a Teacher Education Institution in J&K.

2020

Established Research Innovation & Transformation in Education (RITE) program to conduct surveys and undertake research,  development & innovation initiatives

2022

Initiated Innovation Mentoring Program (IMP) on experimental basis where the Innovation Mentors of our organization are educating the schools enrolling the first generation learners for encouraging innovation
